The Ethan C. Pauley Memorial Scholarships

The Ethan C. Pauley College Scholarship was established immediately after Ethan's death in January 2016. In May of 2016 & 2017, the Wheelersburg High School National Honor Society held the EP7 Soccer Shootout to assist in fundraising for this scholarship. Funds were also raised through the 2017 Powder Puff Football Game. We thank them for their hard work and dedication in holding these events to raise money for this scholarship fund. The Outreach has now taken over the fundraising aspect of this scholarship and will determine the best course to do so.

The College Scholarship is available to to any Wheelersburg High School graduating senior who meet the required criteria. We have now switched to a new online application format.

Scholarship funds are held and distributed through the Wheelersburg Public Schools. Applicants are selected through a process determined by the Ethan C. Pauley Memorial Scholarship Board.

Six college scholarships were awarded to Ethan's Class of 2016 and totaled $3,500.00. Four scholarships were awarded to the Classes of 2017, 2018 and 2019 for $2,500.00.  More recently, four scholarships were awarded to the Class of 2021, 2022, and 2023 for $2,000.00.
